Jonas Erik Altberg dit Basshunter (né le 22 décembre 1984 à Halmstad) est un DJ et musicien Suédois .

Il a vécu avec ses parents à cinq minutes de la célèbre plage de Suède, Tylösand (qui deviendra le titre d'un de ses morceaux !).

Il a commencé à produire sa musique en 1999 avec Frutyloops devenu aujourd'hui FL Studio
Après avoir publié plusieurs démos de chansons sur Internet, il a commencé à recevoir des appels à partir des clubs qui ont voulu le louer comme DJ.

En avril 2006, il a signé son premier vrai contact avec Warner Music.

Il a alors sorti son premier single, Boten Anna (« Anna le bot »), qui est immédiatement devenu un tube en Scandinavie.

Aujourd'hui, il cartonne partout en Europe et débarque en France avec le titre "Now you're gone" en featuring avec Dj Mental, directement inspiré de "Boten anna".

Now you're gone a été n°1 au Royaume-Uni pendant plusieurs semaines et est dans le top 5 des classements sur Fun Radio (Fun list, EuroDance25...)et virgin 17
